Before we go into anything else, the most important thing we want everyone to know is: IF YOU AREN’T COMFORTABLE IN ___________ (fill in the blank), pass it on, throw it out .. get rid of it – PERIOD.
Since we’re talking about panties today, IF YOUR PANTIES AREN’T COMFORTABLE, THROW THEM OUT!!!
“It costs more to have underwear washed at a hotel than it does to buy new.”
“Why do you wear panties that give you a panty line?”
— Oprah Winfrey —
Many of us are guilty of keeping panties like it’s a “prized possession”. Really? Think about this ladies. Consider these signs as an indication it’s time for new underwear:
- Holes
- Tears (as in snags and rips)
- Stains
- Stretched out of shape
Keeping underwear beyond its “life” is also a hygiene issue. Bacteria can accumulate over time. This can lead to an increase in the chance of UTIs, yeast infections and possible skin irritations.
Just in case you need more encouragement, here are panty guidelines to live by:
- Wash after every use, every time.
- Have enough pairs so you can wear each pair one time before washing.
- Quality panties use a higher caliber fabric and design process creating a better product. Better product means longer life.
- A general rule of thumb is the more pairs you have, the longer your underwear can last. Depending on how often you wear a pair, it shouldn’t have a birthday.
- Hanging to dry vs. putting in the dryer can extend the life and condition of your paties. If you put in the dryer, make sure it’s on a delicate/low heat setting. Anything higher than that is like putting your panties into the dryer of death.
And just in case you need a little more encouragement:
Rule #1: If you don’t know how old your panties are … THROW IT AWAY NOW!
Rule #2: If you don’t feel fabulous in your panties … THROW IT AWAY NOW!
Rule #3: Your “favorite” style might not be your favorite if you know what the other options are. Be open to trying something new!
Here’s to the New You in your New Panties!
Until we meet again – behind the curtain. —Carla
P.S. We don’t take panties back because of hygiene considerations. Whether it is an in-store or online purchase,
you can be confident in knowing all of our panties are new, never been worn.
