Young couples promising to love forever set off together on this adventure called life. They take with them the knowledge they have acquired, yet very little wisdom. Wisdom is defined as “the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.” We who are older and have acquired a bit of wisdom along the way can add much to these young people’s journey. Recently, one of our clients called needing some help. She’s going through a double mastectomy and referred to me as her “resource” for all things relating to bras. Though I was honored by the compliment, I was more touched by the fact that my calling of Serving, Educating, and Empowering women is alive and thriving. In one sense, what we share with women is knowledge. However, in a greater sense, it’s wisdom. As you attend bridal showers, weddings, celebrations this summer I encourage you to look for opportunities to impart your knowledge. However, the life you live, one day at a time, is seen by others. That life is the wisdom you share.
